Appalachian Trail sectional hike from GA to NC



This is the GA to NC section of the AT. It starts at Springer Mt. and ends about 15 miles east northeast of Hiawassee, GA. A total of about 85 miles. It was quite an adventure. We spent six nights in the woods and carried an average of 35 pounds of gear. We saw many species of plants, flowers, trees, along with snakes, rabbits, coyote, deer, chipmunks & all sorts of birds.
